By Beautiful Intentions

(lyrics by Irina Igami/music by Ahmad Tanji)

could I actually
be dreaming in the daylight
while counting the ceiling cracks

I literally want you to get out of your shell
and by beautiful intentions, we can transform this

Sunday afternoon
into something beloved

but I prefer to do something more mundane with you
‘coz finally I found a reason to use the word nincompoop.
I’m a little off sometimes
or most of the time

It’s you and I intertwined
It’s you and I in disguise
Like a dream of walking on the moon
Like these thoughts floating on my mind

Like you and I

I can be happy loving you secretly
‘coz I can always just close my eyes
and by beautiful intentions, we can transform this

Sunday afternoon into something beloved

it’s you and I intertwined
it’s you and I in disguise
like a dream of walking on the moon
like these thoughts floating on my mind

like you and I

you don’t have to tell (about your busy schedule)
you don’t have to tell (about your never-ending curfew)
you don’t have to tell me

about how time flies when I’m with….

you and I intertwined
it’s you and I in disguise
like a dream of walking on the moon
like these thoughts floating on my mind
like you and I…

could I actually
be dreaming in the daylight

  1. I love this song so much! Hope you could also post the lyrics of baby you’re going to hell and your silence is the villain (i hope i got their titles right) :)

  2. This could be about daydreaming but I don’t care, for so I love it.

The arrangement is good, never been plain: The answer-and-answer portion “you don’t have to tell me”; the “into something beloved” slower phase; then gaining momentum again with the upcoming verse. The song is full of good sections, the chorus is very dreamy(literally haha), but what really gets me in this song is how it ended like it started with the lines “could I, actually, be dreaming in a daylight”.

    Kudos! :)
